Exhibit Design Ltd.

Client: Enterprise Ireland

Med in Ireland is Enterprise Ireland’s high-profile medical technologies event that takes place every two years in Dublin. Top Irish medical technology companies and research professionals come together at the event to showcase their products, network with international buyers and develop strategic relationships. Ireland’s MedTech sector includes healthcare providers, clinicians. medical devices, precision engineered components and diagnostics.

Challenge

Med In Ireland 2017 took place in the RDS Dublin and featured over ninety MedTech companies and twenty research organisations. Enterprise Ireland used the event as an opportunity to showcase the new Irish Advantage identity, which was created by Fuzion, a PR, Design and Marketing company based in Cork. The Irish Advantage aims to partner Irish companies with global customers, by promoting the adaptability, flexibility and innovation of the Irish workforce.

Overview

I co-managed this project with 3D designer Kellie Sargent. We worked closely with WDisplay’s production team to implement the Irish Advantage brand across all elements of communication within the exhibition space. There were ninety exhibitors and twenty researchers participating in the event. Each organisation had their own booth to showcase products, services and research development. I was the primary point-of-contact for the 110 participants and oversaw the production of their individual exhibitor booth graphics.

Visual Language

I expanded and developed the existing Irish Advantage brand to produce artwork for the interior and exterior wayfinding, wall graphics, large-scale banners, venue maps, counter graphics and exhibitor name cards.

Interaction Design

The researcher area of the event space also featured an interactive social media wall so that visitors and exhibitors could keep an eye on topics and issues being discussed online throughout the event.
